I have other fun things to report, but first, this breaking news:
Tonight, as Rob was starting to give Brendan his bath, Brendan looked up at him and said, “poop”. Rob asked him if he wanted to get out of the tub and poop. Brendan said, “yeah”. Rob took him out, and offered to put his diaper back on – as soon as it was on, Brendan pooped. He *knew* he did something amazing, and had the sweetest little smile of accomplishment on his face. Who is this big boy?
Mommy sprung him free from school early today. Even though I had just visited an hour or so before, I just couldn’t stand to be away from him a second longer. It was a beautiful spring afternoon, and this is how we spent it:

There were extra smiles today, extra hugs, and extra nose scrunching shoulder crumpling giggles. He wowed me with all the words he knows as we looked at his big, big bus book – and then as I was putting him to sleep, he said, “I wanna see Baboo” over and over again. My boy is growing up.
You may not have noticed, but there was a dog barking in the distance of the water-play video; Scotti woofed back at it, and then got up and looked for said dog.
Haha! That means we better be careful playing the video around Chelsea too. Thanks for the warning.
