The doctor didn’t have to ask about milestones because B was running around the exam room, climbing on chairs, and pointing out the ‘bubbles’ painted on the wall. He was deemed to be in great health. Still in the 90th percentile for height, and up to the 60th for weight.
We were warned that in these next few months he will start to test us and push boundaries. A phase that should end sometime after he moves out of the house.
We ended the appointment with FOUR shots. Because he is a big boy now, they were in his arm instead of his leg. This apparently does not make them less painful, and now that he can cry out ‘MAMAAAAA!!!!!!’ it is that much harder to endure. I try to remind both of us that it’s for a good cause, and that our immunization chart is getting closer and closer to being completed each time. But still… My poor baby. He couldn’t even escape under the table.
