In the midst of these past few days, Rob received a package in the mail. It was a gift that we had talked about, but I wasn’t sure I was worthy of it. It’s a really nice camera. He consulted with two amazing photographers (Uncle Joel and Uncle Zip) about the best kind to get, and they all settled on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1. One that I wouldn’t be intimidated to take out and use, but that would also help create images worthy of my favorite subject matter.
It sat in the box while we spent time with our patient, but today I started practicing. I’m definitely not worthy, but Brendan is. So I will do my best to live up to the potential this camera holds. Thanks for the amazing gift, Daddy.
You can see my subject wasn’t smiley today. But still very cute. This last one sort of sums up our Saturday.
