We did some assorted crafts and baking this weekend. Most importantly, I wanted to make some snickerdoodles for Brendan’s teachers, and for my group at work who have been very patient with me since the peanut has become the center of my world. I found some cute little containers that had apples on them and figured it was kindof like giving an apple to the teacher… but better. Brendan sat right next to me and smiled and talked to me the whole time I baked, and I’m certain it made the cookies turn out better than ever.
Chelsea got a couple of new collars – because we still love her too! Even though I walked in from the grocery store today and made a b-line right over to greet Brendan. Then Rob made me feel lower than dirt when he pointed out that I had walked right past the pooch who was standing there sadly wagging her tail. POOR POOCHIE! I also made a onesie for this coming weekend when Brendan will visit his very first pumpkin patch. I could have just bought something with a pumpkin on it, but I was inspired by a cute little girl in day care who had on a onesie from this shop on etsy. I feel like the pumpkin could have used a leaf, but Rob said it looked more like an apple that way.
I love the fall!!!!
