This morning on my way to work I was totally inspired by the way the sunlight was mixing with the clouds and the rain. It made it look like each car was driving in a little cloud of magic, into some bright fairy tale future. I grabbed my iphone and (very safely and carefully) snapped a couple pictures.
When I got to work I looked at what I had captured and was disappointed. I figured maybe my phone camera didn’t do it justice. But now I realize that it was just cars driving in rain. I laughed because my guess is that the road has always looked pretty much exactly like this – the difference is that my perspective has changed. What used to look like a rainy day, now looks like magic. The same way that every ordinary event has morphed into a miraculous celebration in the last three and a half months.
Man, I must be annoying to be around. =)
