I mentioned that I would post some pictures of the awesome and perfect diaper bag of my dreams that my mom made for us – here it is! The first one was pretty great, but for this one she took all the things that I would have made slightly different (bigger size, bigger pockets, magnetic closure instead of zipper….) and used the fabric I envisioned – I LOVE IT!
Since I hadn’t unpacked all our gifts from the shower, I also included a picture of all of it packed up. It’s hard to explain how big the bag of gifts is that is behind the diaper bag… but I could fit in there. And it was FULL of fun! So much so that the handles broke as we tried to move it. Oops.
Also, as I’m typing, Brendan is asleep in his favorite smooshing-his-face-into-me pose, and I came up with an idea. We end up in a way that my elbow is curved like the face cradle on a massage table so that he can still breathe. Clearly what this kid needs is a baby massage table! I know. It’s a brilliant idea. Sadly, I’m sure it exists somewhere…
