A week ago at this time we were starting our first day home from Iowa. I was just sitting down to create my to do list which seemed to go on forever. I felt overwhelmed. Just a week later, things feel much more organized. The overwhelmed feelings have been replaced by excitement at what each new day will bring. We are a happy family. I wish this time of all of us being home together could go on forever.
I’m behind on posting lots of good moments from the past few days. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and offered to do the late night feedings – so we went to bed! (but found that our sleep is broken… even though we knew Brendan was in capable hands, we still woke up every couple of hours…) Late night is usually my prime picture posting time, so I have some catching up to do. Frank and Jess are coming over to make breakfast, but don’t worry Grandparents, I’ll have some more Brendan candy up for you later this afternoon.
