Grandma and Grandpa can’t let a week pass without getting some time with their Grandson. This week came with lots of yummy food (okay, each visit comes with lots of yummy food….), a trip to Ihop (a first for both Brendan and me!), a Target visit, some incredible love filled gifts (deserving of their own post), and plenty of snuggles. In fact, Grandma decided to snuggle Brendan most of the night. Very sweet until he realizes how nice this is and decides to let us know he would like more of the same every night. It’s a strange blend of emotions for me… I love snuggling him, especially when he is all warm and mushy in the middle of the night – at the same time, it’s good to get a little sleep now and then. We’ll work out a happy medium. =)
Amazingly, I did not take pictures of the apple cobbler with apples picked fresh from the tree, or the pasta with fresh herbs from the garden… but thank goodness I got a picture of all of us sitting in a nondescript booth in Ihop.
